James and Paula Cavanaugh have spent the past 25+ years in Children and Youth ministry. Since the pandemic, we have watched churches consistently closing their doors because the younger generation does not see the need to attend a physical church service. There are reasons Hebrews says to stop neglecting meeting together. It specifically says we need to encourage one another. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
As one of our children is working toward a rodeo career, this community has become especially dear to us. We see how rural areas are commonly passed over by well-meaning “preachers” on the corporate ladder to bigger and better churches in the city. We are committed to bringing the Word of God to the rodeo and other rural communities as God allows. We are committed to teaching the average person how to study their Bible the way God intended (2 Timothy 2:15) so that he / she can then go back and teach their family to do the same.
